Soup Kitchen Team Survey
Park Slope United Methodist Church is planning on offering a free meal (“Sunday Dinner”) for those in need on Sunday afternoons from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. We need lots of volunteers! We will be setting up teams that will be responsible for one Sunday per month. Each team will be comprised of cooks, servers, hosts, team captain and security. Would you be interested in helping with any of the tasks below? If you are interested in more than one job, please rank them in order of preference.

I would like to volunteer for the following:
Cooks (As a team, plan and prepare meal for 40 guests. 4-5 cooks per team needed. Food costs can be reimbursed if necessary.)
Servers (Set up tables and chairs, set tables with dishes, serve food to guests, sit with guests, help with clean up. Three per team.)
Hosts (Help facilitate guest line up and seating, help with clean up, sit with guests. Two per team.)
Team Captain (Organize teams, open and close building, maintain order, sit with guests, help with clean up. One person per team.)
Security (Routine checks of building, sidewalks, liaison with local precinct, conflict resolution. One person per team.)
Public Health Issues Coordinator (Seeks information, plans procedures, educates teams)
Substitute Team member (be on call to help team when needed.)
I have a car and can pick up donated items and assist with shopping for groceries.
Volunteer Coordinator (Remind team of their rotation, get additional volunteers when needed, help train volunteers.)
Community Liaison/Publicity (Interface with neighborhood, community groups and precinct to explain and promote project.)
Money donation (Make checks out to PSUMC, write “Soup Kitchen” on memo of check.)
